Campus miscreant vandalizes Freedom Tower.
Early Wednesday, Nov. 29, the LU Banana Vandal struck again.
Flags displaying giant bananas hung from the top of the Freedom Tower on Liberty’s campus. Underneath the bananas was the Vandal’s Instagram tag, @lubananavandal.
The Banana Vandal also posted how he pulled off the stunt. In his next Instagram post, the vandal showed a montage of hiding in a bathroom stall in the tower for what he claims was six hours. After the tower closed, the Banana Vandal suited up and rode the elevator to the top of the tower. There, he recovered the banana banners he had earlier stowed in the floor panels of the tower. The Banana Vandal strung the banners over the top of the observation windows of the tower, and then retreated down the stairs.
The banners were taken down early, but not before some students got a good look at the Banana Vandal’s handiwork.
